We cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Courtyard Marriott Scott’s Addition in Richmond! Nearly 70% of our wedding guests traveled from out of town and stayed here, and the service from the staff truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel taken care of — and during our wedding weekend, they went above and beyond. Eric, Landi, and Lee deserve the biggest shoutouts! Landi was a true jack of all trades — running the bistro bar, helping with details big and small, and making sure everyone was happy. Her service was amazing, and the food she served was always delicious, fresh, and made-to-order. We kept eating here because it was that good! Eric had the patience of a saint. He managed to help us pull off last-minute wedding details while still gracefully assisting other guests with check-ins and check-outs. His ability to juggle it all without missing a beat saved us more than once. Lee held it down on the late-night shift and gave our rowdy, intoxicated crew the freedom to enjoy ourselves while still ensuring the hotel stayed calm and all guests felt attended to. Beyond the service, the hotel itself was perfect. The rooms were modern, clean, and beautifully up to date. The beds were exactly my kind of comfortable — that perfect balance between firm and soft. Transitioning throughout the hotel was easy, which made moving between events, meals, and guest needs stress-free. From our meet-and-greet event to the little touches that helped save our wedding day chaos, the staff here truly made this weekend unforgettable. Thank you for your professionalism, kindness, and flexibility — we couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our celebration.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a work trip and had a great experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the front desk staff were especially friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived. The only minor inconvenience was the ice machine being out of order on the 5th floor, but it was easy enough to grab ice from the 4th — not a big deal. All in all, a solid stay and I’ll definitely plan to return if I’m back in town.

The staff was all incredibly helpful and friendly and the hotel was kept in great condition. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and spacious and a really nice lobby space and bar. I was nervous after reviews, but they had signs explaining the parking situation at the checkin desks and we were able to get spots in the inner hotel lot marked spots each of the 3 nights of our stay with no issues. They also have a lot right across the street with plenty of spaces and in view of most of the hotel rooms with a crosswalk on the street. It is a bummer having to pay the $15 for parking versus being included, but the price is a lot less than independent garages would charge. It was an easy walk to Scott's Addition with a ton of options and incredibly easy access to the interstate. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again!

If you want a clean, comfortable and convenient place to lay your head down in the Richmond/Short Pump area, then I highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott. It's conveniently located a few blocks off Interstate 64 with many choices for dining, shopping and entertainment near by. The staff were very kind, efficient and helpful. And although I felt the room rate was reasonable, I do wish the $5 parking charge would have been mentioned when I was booking.

I stayed here recently for a business trip and have no complaints! It was a really nice hotel and I felt that it was clean and safe. The front desk staff were super nice, as were the housekeeping staff. I didn't explore any of the amenities, so I don't have any input on those. Before booking, I had read several reviews online saying that parking was hard to come by. I did not find this to be the case - they have plenty of spots right next to the hotel and an overflow lot across the street in case you can't find a parking spot labeled 'hotel' (they share the parking lot with an apartment complex as I understood it). It was $12 a day to park which in my opinion could be included in the nightly cost - though it could have been worse I suppose.

Recently stayed here for a long weekend trip to Richmond. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Bathroom has usual amenities and there is coffee in the room. I love that there are water dispensers on the residential floors. The staff were super nice and helpful. The parking is limited in the spaces next to the hotel but I still found quite a few spaces and at $12 a night the parking is affordable. There is a huge lot across the hotel with a crosswalk if you have a huge car or there are not a lot of extra spaces. Location is great if you’re aiming to do breweries in Scotts Additions. Easily walkable to many cafes and restaurants which is nice!

The room is a tab small compared to others I've been in the shower was different but nice. It had a stand up showers however the way it was made it allowed water to get on the floor some and I had to get that up so no one would fall the bar seemed nice and the staff was great I definitely would come back here in the warmer months that way I can see what else they have to offer

nice, recently updated rooms. the beds were decent. the lighting options in the rooms were nice (even had some dimming!). plenty of outlets and usb outlets for once!! also had fun “media lounges” in the lobby that are like booths with a tv and a table that were nice to sit in for short periods of time.
